Great Migration of Serengeti and Masai Mara acknowledged as the World Heritage Site refers to the two safari located in the 2 region of Africa (Tanzania and Kenya). The Serengeti National Park is a huge National Park in Serengeti area, positioned in the region Tanzania. It is renowned for it’s once a year migration of more than 1 million white bearded or brindled wildebeest as well as 200,000 zebra.
The Masai Mara that is even spelt as Maasai Mara is a large park reserve situated in the south-western area of Kenya. This park received its name after the native inhabitants, ‘Maasai’ as well as the Mara River that divides it. It is popular for the enormous population of game as well as annual migration of zebra and wildebeest from the Serengeti, which is so immense that it is referred to as Great Migration. This park, in fact the northern extension of the Serengeti National Park game reserve in the region of Tanzania. Even its 20 or more lion prides are an attraction of the park.
